THREE THRILLS !!!

so many of our boxes are cool looking or elegant or sound nice or have lots of
lights or are well built or have dolby ( ) or wide mode
etc etc etc..............

but when powered OFF --and just sitting there --on a shelf
how many LOOK EXCITING ????

for me - the only ones that are any thrill to stare at
are ::
the lasonic 920 , the purple bolts box and the conion c100f


any others for you guys ????

Pana rxc52 m90 popneer909 to scared to turn it on cuz normally it sounds shiat tosh wx1 gf1000 sanyo 920 another box im scared to put on cuz quite oftern it also sounds shiat most of mine are in a pile so i quite oftern like stairing at them as a hole.

I would have to say my Aiwa CS-880 and my Sharp GF-9494X are "the ones that thrill while sitting still."

Even when turned off and doing nothing, those boxes, for me anyway, are extremely visually pleasing. However, my Rising project with Frank will be stunning.

Sorry the silly answer, but nearly all boxes are exciting for me.
For example:
SILVER,ITT, TEC > solid looking
MasterBlaster, MARS, LASONIC > impressive size
PHILIPS MovingSounds > feel like holiday
... and so on.
Also the DiscoMachine!
Looking funny enough, when not working

I did the same forgot to mention the pc55 stunning box, i remember when i received my pc550 my substatute for the 55 at the time, i must have stared at it for a good 3 hrs or so lol as it was my dream box to have, on the other side of the coin for me the most ugly box for me is the 880 but it sure makes up for it in sound.

I don´t bought it!
But for free and working, why not.
USB connection and MP3.
And behind+connected to an big classic boomer > OK.
But any failure > dump! :sin:

Yes the 720 is elegant,but it is exciting (at least for me) to look at.
