Thoughts on MINIDISC Boombox hard to find in the UK

CASIO ZD-3 Make's a nice addition to my collection .
Thoughts on MD Boombox?
Brought a CASIO ZD-3 on eBay UK for £30, reported as untested.
Found to Work fine both minidisc and CD after a clean and maintenance on the CD loading tray

I would really like to get a imported Panasonic RX-MDX7 Cobra
can not find one any where in the UK.
I Would need to do an internal conversion from 100v to 230AC, go to love a challenge.

There used to be a member, Retro, who would create renderings of custom boomboxes. He made several with mini-discs, including a Sharp GF-777 with dual mini-discs. If only we could get an actual unit like that! I kind of got out of MDs before the "super" MD came out. I still have my Sony MD deck and my MZ-1 that I bought brand new for $649 USD back around 1993.
