Thoughts on adding internal Bluetooth modules to boombox's

Thoughts on adding internal Bluetooth modules to older Boomboxes, I have done a few Akai Reel to Reel players.
Ideally The boombox would need a AUX input or a rewire of the AM button.
The main reason for the Bluetooth module to be internal as to opposed to a external box, it would be self powered and not distract from the originality of the Boombox.
Do you think the purists would object?
Increase or decrease the value?
Anyone be interested?

I know that many people install such BT modules. This is related to the reworking of the existing electrical scheme.
You need to have knowledge to do this modification. For me, having a line input is enough.
I just connect the music player (phone or other device) and that's it.
