Hey, thanks everyone!

Great to see you Rick! :-D I like the new Avatar, certainly something different. :cool: Yeah, the condition of the 777 is amazing. Since those pics were taken, I've done even more detail cleaning on it. I've managed to safely remove those horrible yellow marks around the rubber grille mounts that every 777 I've seen has developed, and I've purchased some parts from another forum member - the imperfect tuning knob has been replaced with a mint one, and the unoriginal loudness switch has been replaced by an original one. So it's 100% original and as gorgeous as ever now! :yes:

One of my GF 777 has this discolouration too. What did you use to remove these?
I don't want to mess mine up with using the wrong stuff :hmmm:

I used a little bit of brasso on a cloth. Be very careful though, you don't want to rub too hard and make the paint shiny or come off! When the marks had gone I rinsed the brasso off. If used correctly brasso works wonders on this type of thing. It can also be used to take light scratches out of tuner windows. :yes:
