First Off, Hello Everyone I have just joined, from recommendation of a friend that this was a great group of people with a lot of knowledge and from lurking around for a couple day I have seen this to be true.

But anyways back to the topic

Over the weekend I scored on 2 nice boomboxes cheap

1. JVC PC-150

This Boombox is in super sweet mint condition, as I got from a estate sale of an elderly couple.

Price $7.00

2. Sony CFS-700

This Boombox is in rougher shape and I really couldn't find much info besides it was made in 1982.

Price $12.00 at the flea market

Welcome, that sony looks interesting, similar in some ways to an akai pj33.

I have that PC-150 too

Definetly a decent box for being a lower end model. I like it.

I see that red boombox you got is already on ebay :hmmm:

I want to collect some of the great Boxes Like the Conion, Some JVCS, And of course the Sharp GF767 or GF777,

If that means I have to sell a Boom Box I am not that crazy about like the sony so be it

i love the sony,man-everyones right-i think this sony predates the akai pj-33 by a good couple of years so they went first with this one-i prefer the look of it too-had the pj33 myself, and frankly i wasnt impressed-the woofers on it were ok,until you tried to mildly turn the volume up-and then that was it-everything goes to the wall!!!! but the sony of yours is a thumbs up
