Left my blaster on the dinning room table and went out to mow the lawn, came back in and found it on the floor! I don't know what happened but our dog must have pulled it off the table by the cord. That's all I can think of as no one else was home. Some might say it aint a big deal as it's not a M90 or a CF100 but that little Panny means a lot to me. It was the last thing my dad gave me before he passed away in 2012, that radio re-ignited my interest in boomboxes again.

I was going to try and glue the pieces back in but strangely I can only find a small amount of whats missing. The radio dial lens cracked also

Get a parts donor if you like it so much! I'm not sure what model it is, should be not that rare. This is what I did to restore my childhood RQ-4050FD :-)

Oh man! I would be heartbroken!
I just got one of these 5100 a few days ago, and already it's become a personal favorite of mine!
Never thought I would love a Tone box so much..
Coincidentally, I'm jammin it right now! Sorry for your loss..View attachment 21122

Its a RX-5100 which is far from rare, I eluded to that in my original post. Its not only that I liked it, it had a lot of sentimental value to me. I'm going to check and see If anyone on here has parts and save Ebay as a last resort.

Dude that sux. I once fell off a ladder while pulling down a D8300 and literally threw it across the garage. it was me or the boombix at that moment. shattered the box. had it been just about any other box I owned I would have been sad lol.

Man, that bites a big one. :bang:

On the other hand, those extra pieces may still show up. You might have to follow the dog around, but you never know... :nugget:

I may just do that Lasonic, I've welded patch panels in cars for years I should be able to do that. Thanks for the help! :-D

Dear Me, that's terrible but not just because of the damage but because of the history and sentimental value as well. I hope you can take some comfort and inspiration from the link in Lasonic TRC-920's post, a labour of love can produce truly spectacular results. I wish you the best of luck.
