Well a couple of guys really are not into these, but there are a few who just love them  So here it is......the Lasonic TRC922 which I have waited almost two years to try and replace  I started working on it about 1:00am and finished around 9:00am. It was very dirty and very crackly. Chrome dust cap fell off one speaker in transit, white speakers were yellow and red were faded pink and deck wasn't working because of bad belts and no drive tire. Surprisingly she cleaned up real nice. All controls and deck was cleaned. All chrome had to be shined up. Belts replaced and I can't believe I made a drive tire out of two tires because I didn't have the right size and I couldn't find one through studio sound or anywhere else. So I put one tire on and put second over it and with drops of super glue to hold in place and some sanding and cleaning and she works perfect :-) I then painted speakers white and with red permanent marker colored in tweeters. Then reglued chrome dust cap on and put her all back together and she purrs like a kitten and looks oh so sweet

Nice...what kind of white paint did you use?

On speakers :hmmm: I used thin coat eggshell white :-)

How did you paint them? With an air brush or was it a spray can? Any tips would be appreciated.

And awesome job on the Lasonic, it looks great!

Just a good brush and a steady hand :-). Plus the sound seems same as it was before I painted them. Usually I bleach them but I had no bleach and its very hard to bleach with black edges

Yeah those tweeter holders are super-cool! Seen a couple of these on Epay lately.. Is the sound comparable to a 920?
