got a jug from ace today ---

it WILL clean the aluminum top panel of an m70
it WONT remove any of the lettering
it WONT damage the plastic
it WILL emit a lovely orange scent
............ perhaps with luck --it may make other members brands & models smell like a freeken orange

it IS recommended by a legend

I've been espousing the great cleaning power of Orange Glo for a few years now. I'm glad you finally tried it.

It also works wonders on chrome antennas.

Yep, I remember that. Almond Glo is strictly limited to Canada. We have Orange Glo here in the States.

I agree with FD...he first recommended Orange Glo to me and it works wonders and makes chrome antennas really shine.

Not to mention it's basically a petroleum solvent, which I'm guessing could easily erode paint, especially the cheap porous kind of paint that's used on boomboxes

Yep secret's out. I've always used a citrus based product for cleaning electronics type gear plastics etc.
