Those m************ just can't wait to turn your s*** into a mail-order pinata. Aside from that the high shipping prices it's like you pay twice as much for the radio it's waste of f****** money.

I guess the guy refused to get a bigger box and some styrofoam because it would have cost too much!! :nonono:

Try to get some $$$ back from this idiot.

Exactly! Look at how he boxed it and put the fragile label.

That's disgraceful - No excuse for it either.............I have been lucky so far but it's bound to happen to any of us over time!

Damage is extensive I would be fuming & going for a refund

This is such bad news and a morale dropper. I've been through this a couple of times so I click on 'Return his item' (drop down menu under the feedback button) and found this an easy process. Add pics, ask for a 'Return Label' in your message (payer then pays postage*) and eBay will take it from there and take care of the refund for you.

*This is at the original price the seller posted the item at and you may need to explain that return postage may be higher is a larger box with the correct packing is required to prevent further damage. The buyer may not even want to pay the original or even higher cost for returning the damaged BB so disposal may be up to you.

Send the seller some pics and then request his delivery address and return it. This is the only thing that will teach these idiots that pack jobs like this just aren't good enough.

thanks for all your comments, ive sent pics to the seller and now in the returns process, he said that he will give me a full refund, fingers crossed, the thing that annoys me is that it was an ebay shop and i asked for it to be well packed, if that was his idea of well pack i dread to think what his idea of poorly packed is,

Sorry to hear about it. Glad it seems to be working out. It's just a shame that the Boombox is the biggest loser here. Sucks.

This should be sticky on "how Not To Pack A Boombox". Hopefully you get a good resolution Geoff.
