Thinking about downsizing my GE 3-5259 A Blockbuster Collection

I have four of these beauties and only have room for two with a spot also for my parts box. Cassette doesn't work but everything else is good. Aux works great in place of Cassette and it runs brilliantly with an iPod attached. Any idea what something like this is going for? I haven't seen sales of one since October and that was for a lesser condition box.

I'd say it depends where you're going to list it (here or eBay).
I'd ask more if I was selling it on eBay to cover the selling fees.
Obviously, overall condition is going to factor in as well.
What's wrong with the cassette?

Cassette suffers from the spindle gear/idler issue. I’ve created replacement gears but they are not perfect and it eats tapes when working.

Oh yeah, I remember that.
1 blockbuster and 6 or 7 scr-8s and luckily I never had a problem with any gears.
Of course, every single one had the broken plastic spring retainer.

Thanks - was giving the box the go-over today and now have decided that I can make room for the box. I put too many hours in to let her go and she is almost there. I'll also never let go of this site as well - lol.

[god bless brother i would try changing the pinch roller that might fix the tape chewing issues you have
