They are both bluetooth speakers. But I could picture this on my desk and it's really cool looking and ONLY $35. The other.... I got no place for it, and even if I did, I wouldn't pay that much, but even if I would/could, I'll stick with my Aiwa EOS-9. It's good sounding, elegant and attractive looking, puts out great bass, etc.

At first glance I thought this was one of those VWs that you sat on a record and it drove around (supposedly) playing the record   . Those didn't work well at all but are expensive if you can find one working well.

I’d love to hear on Exos9 in the flesh. I’m sure I’d be super impressed with the performance on offer!
Jimmy, there are a bunch of members that have heard it, either because they have one, or because they went to the Vegas meet. Maybe another member who've experienced one can chime in on what they think of them.

Jimmy I think you'd love the sound of the Exos, I really love the punch it packs. It's a fantastic sounding bluetooth speaker, and it plays in stereo! :w00t: Lol...I love my AIWA

I got my Exos-9 two weeks ago, and I couldn't be more thrilled with it! While the reason I got it is for summer cycling fun, it's actually become my home stereo speaker (though I have a very small place and have to turn the bass way down here), sitting raised on lucite behind and (mostly) above my 21" monitor. The size of the AIWA is perfect for this, and it's wide enough at 19" that you do get a reasonable amount of stereo separation from only a few feet away. (And, as Superduper said, it's very elegant and attractive-looking.)

Weather has been rainy, so I've only taken the beast out once on the bike, but that one time I did so the clean, powerful sound—which I don't dare raise above conversation-level at home—just blew me away! I have it securely strapped on to a basket sitting on my back rack when I head out... it's actually LOCKED to the rack with one of those combination-locking luggage straps, since it would be kinda easy in the city for someone to just reach over and grab it (and there's no question some dudes will want to do just that when they hear the monster bass emanating from the thing) when I'm stopped at a light or something.

Jimmy, if you're wondering if it lives up to all the 5-star reviews and is worth getting sound unheard: IT IS!! :)
