The long first day of travel begins

I leave Italy at 6:15am and arrive in Hong Kong at 6:00am after a 3 1/2 hour layover in Paris.

Let's be patient here guys. This is going to be a L-O-N-G process. Forget about multiple options too, they've got to keep costs down so apart from maybe a battery capacity option, I think it's going to have to be a 'one size fits all' situation.

I think we'd all love to be involved in this but let me just say with Chris at the helm, I'm assured this thing is going to be as kick ass as possible.

Cost restraints are a fact of life today with punters expecting so much for so little.

Waiting for my connecting flight to China at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The main terminal is a mall.

Woke up at 3:30am, at airport in Naples at 4:30am, at the gate at 5:30am, on the plane at 6:30am. Made it to Paris at 9:30am now wait till 12:30pm to board.

I'm already exhausted 🤣

@rbj, I'll be keeping my eyes open for egg rolls!

Already exhausted??? You should have arranged a stop-over in UK - and picked up a Stiff Upper Lip while you were here! :-D

Hey Everyone, I finally managed to get on line. All social media is blocked in China, no Facebook, Youtube, Instagram or Twitter. Even this website has been blocked too me. But I managed to get around it.

Anyway, things are going good. I have been to the Bumpboxx factory, met with the production manager, showed everyone my designs and we are now hashing it all out.

Today I go to another factory to start choosing materials like knob styles, switches ect. Then on to speak to someone regarding mold manufacturing of the case and other components.

As I previously said, I came here to ask for the moon, so far, no one has said no to anything. All my wildest idea's have been getting green lights, at least to proceed to see if it's financially possible.

Thanks for the updates. I agree that secrecy is all important to protect your new project from the copy cats out there.

I'm hoping the guys here aren't honestly expecting Bumpboxx to be able to offer M90 build quality. Wow, imagine what a box with that build quality would cost to build today??!!!

It must be very interesting to see how the masters of mass production do their thing.

Good work Chris!

James..... :-)
