Hi everyone-here's some photos of the LXI Series boombox I got at the flea market yesterday for $7.00!
It all works and cleaned up nicely!
It was really dirty-looked like it used to be a garage radio, had a oil stain on top!
It sounds really decent for a boombox this size.
I like the light bar in the middle for the battery & level.also had a stereo light to!
My first Sears boombox!-I like it!
Have a great Memorial Day!_GB. :-)  :choco:

Hey, I was thinking it was a three-piece box until I saw the back cover. :-O That's trickery! :-P

That's a gorgeous looking box, I love boxes like that which date from approximately 1985, and are one piece boxes which are made to look like a three piece. In fact, I want that box badly.

Shame it only has a tone control, no bass and treble or an equalizer.

Thanks guys! I thought it was worth 7.00!
I like the sound and the fact the cassette players both work!

Is the LXI the top of the line Sears or is their only boombox line?
It looks like a AKA Sanyo or Realistic! It says Made In Japan!

Thanks for the replies-GB. :-)
