Well today i went on a 6 hour road trip to pick up my new Sharp GF 9494 the box sounds great looks good the only things wrong with it is the tape player dosent work and the handle is broken but looks like old owner wrapped it up with some leather looks cool to me it came with the original box and owner manual all of this for $40 bucks

It took us 12 hours round trip to Minnesotta (including break and dinner stops) to pick up my Conion and believe me it was well worth it even costing me $90 for gas

My vehicle sucks gas at the rate of 4-5 gallons/hour of freeway driving so with the high cost of CA gas, that equates to almost $20/hour of driving.

Dang thats a lot of gas i got a dodge ram daytona with a Hemi that truck sucks up gas like theres no tomarrow :'-(

The searcher stands for music search for audio cassette... Quite a few were made by sharp gf series

Very nice, it's the 'X' model with silver speaker caps too

The tape isn't the end of the world to fix either if it's the common symptom of take up spool not turning due to worn away capstan rubber tyre.
