Survived it's long journey intact. Flipped the voltage selector, put a UK plug on it...it only fricking works! Needs a service and a bit of casing repair to the back but sounds awesome! Function switch is stuck on line in but I already have a replacement part for this.

Love it love it love it!

Definately looks a well made box from any manufacturer, let alone Lasonic. Lots of chrome, big drivers, all the fancy features and great performance!!

I'm super stoked for you man and good luck with the resto!!

And a massive congrats,

James.... :-)

the one box in the world that would benefit from one of those rgb light kits . imagine the blinding ufo like 920 blinking and blasting , best thing is with the lasonic design you will barely notice all that extra **** once its installed lol.

Congratulations! Its an awesome boombox to have in the collection! Mine just needs a battery cover, and the chrome ends to attach the handle that I got from blu fuz for it to be complete. Chris hooked me up with one missing knob :-) I love all that chrome.

So it just needs a function switch repair and a couple of antennas?

Did you find a new function switch?
How does the sound compare with other boxes?

I need one of those Lasonics! We're in the same boat here in Oz in that the Lasonics were never sold here new.

James... :-)

Just a couple of screw posts and a small repair to the back casing, and yeh new aerials.

The function switch I've got a new gear (that's the bit that cracks) for it.

Needs a service to get the full effect but when I do I'll do a sound comparison...but its unserviced sound is really impressive.
