I'm finally back to boomboxery :-) A lot has happened lately. First of all I moved and am now living in Berlin serving out my Zivildienst. Good thing that my new room is larger 'cause I got myself several new boomers :-) Over the holidays I'm back at my parents' which is why I can't take any pictures of my recent gains but I will catch up on that as soon as I'm back to Berlin. My brother, however, took a picture with his mobile phone showing some of the newer ones among several I already own a little longer.

There's a Philips D8040, a Siemens RM 840, a TV-combo made by Swing and a Sharp GF 4500. Oh, and also the Panasonic A2 box set - unfortunately without the main unit. The other new purchases not in the picture include a Sanyo C4, a Sharp GF 6000, a Hitachi TRK-9900, a Crown CSC-850, a Sharp VZ 2500 and a DDR product. Well, as I promised, there will be pictures, but for now this'll have to do.

Greetings,
Fred

Trying to do decent photography is taking me a lot longer than expected... anyway, here finally comes the first picture. A little yellow-ish cause it's already dark outside.
I only bought this Sharp GF-5757HB two days ago for a couple of bucks. It is in perfect working order, which means it sounds pretty good actually. The casing has two fissures and the tuner screen got one as well. But despite those everything is fine - no further damages, nothing missing. All in all I'd say you can't go wrong with this particular unit as well as the GF 5757 in general.

It's standing on my new Sharp VZ 2500H by the way, which unfortunately bears a bigger crack. Any ideas how to seal the wound?

The next one is another small Sharp, a GF-4500H(S).

Everything is alright with this unit although the front is a little dirty and worn off.

Talking about Sharp... here comes the GF-6000H, a mono box. The coll thing with this one is that it's got an integrated microphone... that can also be taken out und plugged in via cable. There's even space to store such a cable in the back. Pretty cool. Again every everything working.

Last new boomer I'll post for today and also something completely different. A Swing TVC-2700. My first boombox with built-in TV! And in very good shape! The only issue is that the power switch doesn't work, it's always switched on. But that might not be too hard to fix. The sound is decent, nothing outstanding. Seen one or two similiar units around the forums, I quite like the looks. Rather simple but neat.

Next one. A RFT SWF-3500 made in East Germany. Good condition, only the aerial isn't original. Adequate sound, adequate looks - a decent boomer.
