the last week

has been the best run for boomboxes i have had in a while.
the awesome five buck sears box i scooped started it off.
the sanyo c7 that has for sure been getting tons of use since i got it was the second.
and the 690 i scooped today. this really has been a good run of luck this week. i wonder if tomorrow i will cap it all off with one more.
i even walked aways from a few really interesting ones this week.
one of them was a really big akai with a extra woofer. it was black and well just not my style.
seems like there is lots of stuff showing up in the thrifts all of a sudden.
strange how it seems to go in cycles. i mean for the last while most of what i was finding was nice recievers or intergrated amps.

For the most part, I envy anybody who can go out and hunt for boxes (or other equipment). Unfortunately for me, I'm currently far too lazy to do such a thing. However, if I still had a car, it might be a whole different situation...

Yeah, absoloutely. I've had no luck for a couple of months, then 4 great scores in one week.
Ours is not to question why, but to make the most of it while the blaster-karma is strong!
