Due to traffic getting away from work I didn't have enough time to go by the gym so I stopped at Goodwill on the way home tonight. I found a unique and very nice sounding Panasonic Mini in nearly minty shape and fully working, it is the RX-C20 which I don't think I've ever seen before. It has an Auto Reverse, Metal and Dolby tape deck with Line in and Bass/Treble controls. Since the line in says Line in/CD it must be from the late 80's.

a few months ago - i was on a mad search for a C20 --
and finally bought one from member blah blah blah --

know here as simply blah blah :-) :-D :-) :cool:

Interesting! I found one at a Goodwill also recently.On that other forum,I posted a topic about it.Very high quality unit with amazing bass for its size! It runs on only batteries or DC current.Did yours come with the adapter?

it WANTS a high amp ac adaptor -

like at least a 1.0 or a 1.5 is better --
RS has them for about $25 --
or they may be much less on ebay.

They had one taped to it but it wasn't the right one, I looked on all the shelves and couldn't find an appropriate power supply.

Congratulations, Don! Those mini Panasonics are fantastic. :thumbsup: I almost won one of these on eBay a while back but lost out when my head was turned. At least it went to a good home. ;-)

the one I found not only had the AC adapter but still had batteries in it!

That can be scary, I've seen a lot of old batteries still in old boomers doing their best to damage the battery compartments. :sad: :dunce:

I found that out real quick, I'm really liking this little box. It's sitting on my nightstand right now and I've been playing it everyday since I got it. :yes: :thumbsup:
