Probably. Snow hadn’t melted so I used the air compressor to blast it away. It’s a **** box anyway, I only keep it as it’s the model I had as a kid. Every other box in the barn is bagged and sealed :-)
Be careful even though they're bagged and sealed condensation can still happen.

That brings back memories. My first-ever score was partially covered in snow like that, next to a dumpster. I spotted it as I was leaving my friend's place during Christmas break in 1996. It was pretty cool because it was the same box that a kid on my bus route blasted all the way to school. Driver didn't care. I wanted one like it so bad but I was only 10.

Anyway, I got it home and de-snowed it. The radio worked, but not the deck. Unfortunately, I let my brother borrow it because the dump truck he was driving for his summer roofing gig had no radio. Well, at some point he decided to run it over. Pancaked it. Just matter-of-fact told me what he did. Let's just say he wasn't happy with something I did to him prior to that.

As it turns out, I had just purchased my first digital camera with my Christmas monies, and it snuck into a photo I took of my friend while I was busy rebelting it on the kitchen table during New Year's Eve 96/97.

That's what all of our outside radios look like over here, -20F, no problem at the ice rink but bring out the extra batteries. These things were built for the long haul, 35+ years old and they still work great.
