....great photos. I always get a kick out of the different cars you see in other countrys...they are small compared to us gluttonous Americans. That is a very beautiful area...I am so jealous. America can be so cluttered at times. Nice boomer as well...

But the times for the nice old cars are getting over.... :'-(
Nearly everything get trashed away.
You must only look at the local wrecking yards.
Horrible....

But interesting:
Those cars does´nt go in the shredder.
They were sold as partspender to egypt, russia, ......

And walking around with it, brings back memories to the people.
Many of them was greeting me and make a happy smile.
One told to his junior: "Those big radios were called Ghetto-Blaster. You needed strong hands and a lot of batteries. Not like your MP3 player..."!

Most lovely was the tramtour trough the old city "alfama".

hey it has changed a bit but i still do see some old cars around,

there are lots of car collectors here in portugal,

thats why im thnking about getting a old car, again.

alfama, i sometimes go out at night and visit some places near that,

i mean ' bairro alto '.

if you go there nowadyas, its like you see on those photos.

the first photo with the police car, is very recent,

because those police cars are new,

what i mean by this is that in architecture, few things have changed ,

which is not a bad thing !!!

i enjoy more of old things than the new LOL.

im different.
