THE 505 HITS THE GOUND IN OZ (OR A CONTAINER)

Got the 505 today, th packing was that bad I went on a 5 hour drive before I opened it :annoyed:

When I opened it , it looks as iff the antenna have been snapped off and the posts have been damaged as i can hear them rettling around inside the case.
Definately dropped and kicked around on it's way over with a little seller BS to boot!

Bloody D cells in the battery compartment (from the 80's??!!) and a little corroded but no biggy. Also part on one of the belts in the batt comp!

Sounds good, looks F-ing cool! Bitter sweet purchase.

I've been to a few courier depots and you just know they play football with some of these parcels. Makes me so mad. Nice stereo though.

I was workin in DHL too. And sweating all the time till im waiting for for the parcel to arrive... Anyway congrats. Its not so bad damaged. Great box

Every time I see a box show up like this I can't help but think about the opening scene in ace Ventura pet detective.

That's really unacceptable packing, surely you have some recourse for a refund of the shipping costs?

She's a killer box though, love the 5050/9494.

Should be ok in the end. Good size box and sounds great. Again, not good low down but I haven't cranked it yet.
Has that 80's Dr who style!?
