Well, to be honest, it was a mess. So my wife says, "You need more rack space." Not being one to pass up an opportunity, I jumped on it and bought a rack to match the one I had. Now I have more boomers on display!

Plus with all the stress of work and Jackson (my great nephew leaving) my wife said I need to sink myself back into my hobby as she is her gardening. So I started with some pics.

From the two black and white styles I'll choose one to remake my avatar. (I'm a bit partial to the more "old style" greenish black and white.)

Anyway, here is where the BASSment stands today. (I am also updating the lab with test equipment my dad passed on to me.)

I agree the green one looks way cool. Nice set up.
I wish my basement wasn't so prone to flooding.

I looked all over those pictures and couldn't find anything new. :-/ Are you going to redo the tube lighting again? That was nice.

I like the row of minis on the bottom of the left rack.

Wish I had a basement, out here on the left coast basements are about as common as a Gold C-100F.

I agree Oldy, that green makes some of the speakers and details pop.

You're not looking hard enough Bobby! First changes are the CFD-5 finally being added to the display along with the HP-800. Also, you should look real hard for the walkmans! Really, if you think about it, alot of these were regulated to corner stacking status... :-/
You could always help me with that "new" thing by sending me the FX-500...it's not in the family shot! :w00t:

(The RX-5150 and M-X650-K are in resto mode so there will be some cramming to do.)

I don't know if I'll do tube lighting or led spotlighting for each unit... :hmmm: :-)

Well, now... I saw the CFD-5 and HP-800. I was referring to new purchases. I was hoping to see the M-X650, but I guess I will have to wait a little longer. :-)

I think we also need to expand your vinyl collection. That's almost sad.

LOVE it, Freddie!!
You've got such a stellar collection it would be doing it a massive disservice displaying it
in anything less than the perfect space. And that BASSment is the PERFECT space!

Wish you the best of luck finding some new additions!

Rock On.

Well I might know one ;-) ....but then selling the house would be a pain because not everyone likes wall to wall shelving from top to bottom!

Plus my wifey loves the "Satin Nickel", not K-Mart, shelves, and I don't have to polish my wood!!! :w00t: :-P

The Black CP-7, CFD-5, HP-800, Sony CFS-900S, and Maggie D-8643 are considered new and have never been "on display". (New meaning obtained within the first quarter of the year. Must be relevant to my actual purchasing ability...wish I could "Buy At Will"... :-/ ) I even have a Panasonic F10, Realistic Minisette-14 and G.E. 3-5322B that haven't been photo'd yet! (Come to think of it I may have a few more... :hmmm: )

I need to catch up.... :super:

As far as my vinyl goes...it's in Georgia safely tucked away at my dad's house...I don't want him to pass away, but...I know where the records go and a plenty there are! ;-) :-D

Holy :-O That picture of your boxes in front of the fireplace, in the living room or family room I presume,......my wife would kill me. The shelving in the basement = much better!!
And nice Sansui speakers. Used to have a pair and they are monsters in the sound department.
