She helped me a lot with this purchase through eBay in the USA. A BIN of 600,00$ was there...and we talked with the seller since someone already bid on the minimum bid so the BIN was gone...but the BIN was really good for what these recently went for...
So he relisted it again only for her to directly buy it. And she did.
And now after a few weeks and a visit at customs (where we picked it up without paying fees because "It is an old radio that nobody really wants anymore" :lol: )
it stands here and I can not really believe it :dunce: .

And even if the description said tape decks are dead, tape 2 works...it goes a little wah-wah but it is there :-D :-D

Some small issues to fix are there (Fm stereo does not really want to come in...maybe a bad transistor or something) but overall this baby is MINT MINT MINT :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :-D :-D :-D :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

All I can say: Rumors that this si the freaking loudest thing are TRUE. I cannot even turn it up to half volume :w00t: .
The sound is outstanding - amazing - great. Actually so many words for it.
But one summarizes it: Conion.

The Conion can well be a model for your caledar :yes: . Pick any of the boxes I have for it.

But seriously - you have some aweomse boxes too :yes: :thumbsup: . They should be preferred since it is your calendar...otherwise they will feel bad and start getting issues...or something like that :lol: .

The Conion needs a bit of work so I am not sure if I will bring it to Dessau with me but you can come take some of your famous photos all the time if you want :-) . I would feel honored :-) .

Yeah. I had all my best ones in the last years calendar and I wanna mix it up a bit this year.
At the moment I´m in contact with sneaker collectors. My roommate works for Adidas and she works withs some real sneaker nerds. :)
The idea is to shoot boomboxes and sneakers together for the next calendar. I think thats a nice combination - maybe with some streetart/graffiti in the background.
This will happen end of summer but its good to know, that you can help me and contribute some pieces of youre awesome collection.
I will shoot the next calendar in the streets in berlin. As soon as I´ve got a time frame I will let you know and we can talk about the details.

:lol: Sorry man...NO trades as I stand here :no: ;-) .
I am going to have this beast fixed up (cassette decks) and it will have its new home here...for the rest of its life :lol: .

The push-in cassette deck just said bye-bye too...belt ripped I guess. It does not turn anymore...I guess it was my fault using a cleaning cassette which turns very hard only...oh well...it did not sound that good anyway when it varied in speed so it runs on line-in now and FM :-)

Don't worry! Your day will come - it will be the right time and the right box. One is out there that has your collection as destiny :yes: ;-) .
