Swapping speakers in a Sharp GF-575

As title states i'm thinking about changing the speakers in it because when I give it some the bass gets nasty, so I'm gonna go down the car speaker route. Depending on what speaker I use will this improve the bass and top end volume. Any help or advice will be greatly apprieciated. The origional speakers are rated 45w with 3.2 ohms??? so will car speakers rated at say 100w and 4 ohms make a difference. I can't afford anything louder boxwise atm so a speaker upgrade down this route seems the only way.

Swapping speakers will ruin the nostalgia of bbx. It may sound better but can also damage amp in long run. If changing the ohm rating of 3.2 on speakers to 4 ohm will cause a slight decrease in volume at lower levels. The amp rating for this model might be about 4 - 5 watts per channel if that
