Swap out Maggy!

I picked up a Dark Gray Magnavox D8443 pretty cheap a few weeks ago. Well I got it all cleaned up and working but still would have preferred a silver one. It was the silver Maggy that back in 84' I was contemplating on buying at Zayer for $100 but instead after 3 hours of deciding I purchased my CEC . So yesterday I picked up a silver front case in real nice condition from a guy parting the unit out. Well today I swapped all the innards and back to my new silver front case and she turned out gorgeous. Here's some pics of both units and front gray case is in for sale post

Good work Bill, Ive never heard one of these but they look like they SHOULD pound but the general thought seems to be they dont.

I had one of each color and the silver did look nicer. Good work billy.

I've got one of each colour...the silver one is all original and the dark one has been disco'd up with a load of LEDs

Replaced the outer speakers with modern ones and it improved the sound quite noticeably but still not that impressive....looks fab tho.

I actually prefer the look of the darker one
