Surprised Nakamichi never made a box

I'm a minimal owner of boxes (own a LA 937), but own multiple Nakamichi cassette decks in my analog setup. Was just thinking that Nak could have possibly made the best sounding boomer (if they ever did), considering it seems that most of my Nak decks would vertically fit into a case like the Lasonic. 3 head boomer would be awesome!

They knew very few people would buy it, as the cost would be horrendous, considering the whole box would need to be high quality to put their name on it.....not just the deck.

Also they probably had a dismissive attitude about boomboxes in general.
