Beautiful looking box Frank, a super-deluxe digital tuner, huge 8" woofers, and you're right, what an amazing clean-up job considering it was covered in grime, a real diamond-in-the-rough. Also what an amazing story! I'm sure you'll treasure it, not only because of it's stellar condition, but for the thoughtfulness and generosity of your friends, that will be something to remember.

Sharp GF 9595 is like the Boeing 787 Dreamliner among boomboxes.

It's got very nice sound and a very usable volume range. Gets pretty loud for a small/mid sized box and doesn't distort when you give it the old "sliders to the top" routine.
