Picked this up this morning along with a Sharp GF-329. I always thought these Superjumbos were more show than sound but bloody hell this thing pounds!

Here she is in all her glory.

Congrats!!! Great score!!!! Yeah, these Jumbos lack build quality and are hollow but damn they are flashy and and pretty damn powerful!

So what's the back story? Where did you find it?

Thanks fellas.

I picked it up this morning from a jumble sale here in Turkey along with the GF-329. All of my blasters have come from the jumble sale, Theres all Sorts. I think I'm up to about 35 blasters currently. Last week I picked up a Grundig, cool looking thing. I mainly have the GF Family, Goldstar 850, Panasonics, etc

I still can't get over the size of the thing. my 9494x and even the TSR-850 looks like a kids toy compared to this!

It certainly is a good looking box, any chance of a pic with the box working in a reduced light environment?

View attachment 25617Here's a video of it instead in lower light so you get to see the LEDs in action!

Apart from a missing aerial, missing slider on the EQ and tape B running a bit fast she's in really nice shape. Some of the blasters I get hold of are in really shiat condition, such as this Gf-777 I'm hoping to pick up this week (photo below) but as the prices are reasonable I can't complain.

So are these SuperJumbos rare? There's a few AKA's as far as I know too.

By the way, what is the security sensor for? If I press the button all it does is turn off the unit.
When you push the "Security Button", it's like setting the alarm on your car. It has an optical sensor that detects light movement. It waits for a few moments until there is no movement (like when you leave the room) then it sets the alarm.

Then when someone enters the room and the light in the room is disrupted, the alarm goes off, it sounds like a car alarm coming out of the radio at full volume!

Here are two radio's that that feature:

I had to Google Map where Bursa is. I spent some time in Incirlik Adana (Air Base military Deployment). It's about 840 km away.

So many Aka's of this box.
Pro-max, Supertech, Torec, Techsonic, Intermax, Clairetone 7985, Phonia. I'm sure there's more.
This is my Larsen. Notice the variations of digital clock or movement sensor.....or nothing!
