I have recently seen a new model of a retro styled radio. This is obviously a lower end model, but would probably cure a craving of someone casually interested in portable radios. I have seen them for sale on ebay priced at $35.88 w/ free shipping. As far as features go, I think they are on the right track as far as what they have included. A real eq, cassette and 4 band radio plus usb and sd inputs. I cannot speak on the quality as I haven't seen one, but at its price point I think it is probably along the lines of what you would expect.

Sidenote:

Although a remote isn't included in the specs, the top left of the handle has the look of a remote receiver. That would be an interesting concept if it was.
