Stumped about overpayment to Lasonic!!!

Ok , here it is, a few weeks ago I decided to order some old stock parts for my trc975... I ordered the 2 decals for $20 each plus shipping of $7.49. I really don't need them now but I figured I may need them some day and seeing they are showing low stock I would go for it... Anyway I 1st tried using my credit/bank card and the system stated around 5 times that my address was not matching.. I then decided to use my paypal and it worked. I received 2 emails one stating what I had ordered and that is was paid via paypal..... The other from paypal stating I made a payment to Lasonic.
Anyway the following day 5 transactions showed on my bank statement with only 4 being terminated and one being pushed thru. Also the money came out of my paypal too. I call bank and they state I must get hold of Lasonic and get money from them or it could take up to two weeks.. I speak with Happy at Lasonic and then check into It they said they never received funds. They send me their credit card statement that shows four transaction that were declined..... So then I go back to my Bank and fill out a paper for a non permitted transaction , showing that there already had been a paypal transaction. Mean while I am still dealing with Duke and James Wong at Lasonic and not getting anywhere.
Today after almost three weeks of this my FN bank tells me they turned down the funds reversal because Lasonic is saying both payments were legitimate .... I only received one reciept and the two originally ordered decals for my 975.... So now my bank manager and Lasonic have been trying to figure this matter out. I don't know what to do. I am out $50 and Lasonic still claims to have not gotten money. What ever you guys order from Lasonic, pay with paypal, it's much safer :annoyed:

Man, I hate this cr@p. I can't tell you how many times I have dealt with this same thing (not with Lasonic but other places)

Companies are oh so happy to let you spend your hard earned money, but when you want to stop that transaction....Fa-Get-About-It.

I'm so anti-corporation, it's not even funny....don't get me started! :annoyed: :lol:

I spoke with James Wong at Lasonic, they sent me their bank statements to show the money from my bank account did not go into their account...Well it turns out for the month of May they only had around 5 transactions for a month....Did not make sense, so the bank manager of my bank got on a 3 way call with Lasonic and the credit card company that handles Lasonics online and phone credit card purchases and they told Lasonic they need to dig deeper because wouldn't you know it Lasonic at the same time I ordered the parts, they are changing over to a new credit card merchant :huh: So the manager of my bank assures me by tomorrow it should be siraightened out :sad:

Thanks Chris, but actually I Paid twice for 1 order...They pushed my credit card payment even though I paid with paypal because it kept declining my card for non matching address :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:

Thanks Chris, but actually I Paid twice for 1 order...They pushed my credit card payment even though I paid with paypal because it kept declining my card for non matching address :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:

Bill you need to email accounts with a credit request, most companies will automatically reverse double payments as soon as they realize there is a problem. You will probably find that it may magically appear back on your CC statement. If it hasn't done so after a few days, (banks can be slow), then you need to speak to whoever looks after the accounts there. They are not deliberately keeping your money, you just need to get a human to see the problem and action your request.

Well the thing is I used my bank card which is not a real credit card. I went to my bank when it happened and filled out the double payment but my bank refused saying the 2 transactions were seperate transactions according to lasonic. Lasonic claims to have not recieved a payment from my bank card , they only got one from my paypal, which is where the whole problem lies.....From what I was informed lasonic is going through a transition with a new credit card merchant and thats where the problem lies :huh: :thumbsdown: Thanks for info ;-)

Well finally after over 3 weeks going back and forth with Lasonic, and The bank manager at my bank getting involved Lasonic decided they would refund the extra amount after I ordered parts. They still claim to have not been able to locate where money is but the manager of my bank assures me that they did in fact recieve it but probably have not dug deep enough :-/ This has not in any way discouraged me about Lasonic.... I do still in fact love the lasonic products I have and still want ;-) :-D
