Someone help me with some tuner restringing tips before I ####ing top myself!!!!! :annoyed:

I know the string route as I have two of the same box but as fast as I get it right on one pulley it comes off another and I've had to step away from it before I smash into tiny ####ing pieces!!!!! Has anyone got any tips to make this bitch of a job easier before I lose my mind? I have done one before but this one is going to be the death of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always try my hardest not to have to restring a tuner. It takes lots of patience and like I said its so much easier with a second set of hands. After you get it strung while putting string over last pulley have someone take needle nose pliers and pull string on white dial that has spring. This will relieve tension on string allowing you to put it on last pulley. Good luck

Took me probably 3 hours of messing and trying different ways. Seemed a weird set up with 2 lots of 2 reels on one spindle with one bigger than the other. I managed using wooden pegs to hold parts of the string tight...no idea how I did the last bit other than I seemed to be holding 3 bits at once!?! :w00t:

I would hate to do a restringing job, it's so tight, I don't think I'd have the patience or even the nack to do it. Well done on fixing it! :-)

Has anyone tried, re-stringing the eject mech, on the tprs? Total nightmare. I have never managed to get it like it was. Almost destroyed a cs600, as, i couldn`t do it.
