Strange RADIOTONE

Found it on flea last weekend.
Was a very small flea, the only boombox there.
Don´t want to come home with empty hands, so i took it

ups, wrong color

too sad about the missing handle and aerial

the look of it is like a tank :sin:

littlebit rampaged around, but no knobs missing

the reason why i took it.
Should be my new clockradio

radio + tape works, but bad FM receiption (not about the aerial).
must look why...

There was a handle for sure.
You can see the mountings on the side.

Maybe a handle of a broken box will fit.
But when using it as clockradio in the bedroom, no need for it.

Also the stereo control is not working.

Difficoult to say, because of the weak FM signal
But on tape the sound is still ok.
No bassmonster, but as clockradio it will be enough.

btw: just pulled out a grip from a broken PHILIPS compactline.
With a little modification, it will fit.

Cutted of a piece of the grip.
Drilled holes in it for the screws
Pulled out the broken parts with the hammer

fits

I sit in the büro in the 1st floor.
But good to have some possibilitys (tools,...) for such work.
