I'm in a Strānj situation here, so let's see what you say!

There are 3 main boomboxes that came out with keyboards (musical) on top. Below are some pics.

Which one would you get? Take the Poll! Taking into consideration sound, looks, quality, etc. Give opinions if you like also!

You should eventually get all three in your collection!
But for the first one, its a toss up between the Sharp and the Casio.
I would like to hear them in action before I would buy.
Sharp made great boomboxes, but I'm not sure if there synths are any good.
On the other hand Casio has made some classic synths but I'm not familiar with other boombox models they may have produced.
I like to go big, so based purely on size Id try to find a casio!
Plus it looks pretty sweet. :breakdance: :sin: :-D

Oh yeah! I'm planning on that! Gettin' all 3... but I have the chance to choose between these 3 and I honestly don't know which to get... but your input is helping!!! You're so right about the Sharp's having made killer boxes, but not so much synths, and Casio killers synths but not boxes, so it's catch-22 :hmmm:

Thanks bro!

The fact that the keyboard retracts is a feature that would attract me to the Sharp, all things being equal.

But all things here are NOT equal, at least they shouldn't be.

That Casio should have a much better synth than the other two, I would be willing to bet.

For the sake of argument, I'll say the Sharp!

But I do, however, think the Sharp is an easier box to find.
I've seen a lot more of them listed over the last couple of years than the Casio
or Fisher.

That's all subjective though, as I'm only using listings in Australia.

I think you should go for the most complete and working unit overall first, Stranj.
With personal-grail like this, or boxes your super passionate about i always find it's worth
spending extra on getting one as complete as possible.

Nothing is more disheartening than loving a box that can't love you back.

Good luck!

Rock On.

all of them have terrible synths :-)
for me the answer for this question is simple
for the prices these bring none of them sing
may as well buy a m70
and a casio cz101
then we are talking bling.

holy crap was that ever a bad ryhme.

seriously tho.
there is another fisher box with a keyboard i mean i could swear i saw a bigger one than the one you have in the photo.

in order of preference for me
sharp
fisher
casio

Radio raheem

Requiem Æternam
I picked up a mint sharp for £10 the other day its complete and in better condition than the last one wich i threw out.

out of all 3 i would say the sharp but for a better keyboard it would be the casio as the sharp keyboard is awful but if i realy had the choice i would buy an m90 and a seperate keyboard

Hey guys! THANKS SO MUCH for all the support, tips and even videos! (bill d. cat)... I'm really grateful... I'm also seeing you like the Casio very much!!!

I don't know how to say this, but it's actually a trade... I can't really get all three since none are for sale, since I don't have much money and I only have one 'Lil Kasuga... He told me he really likes my Kasuga very much and that he would like to trade me for it!!! And well, since I'm in need of one of these Keyboard boxes for my vocal group, I thought I'd ask you guys for help on deciding since I trust what you have to say so much. I kinda feel Strānj since that Kasuga is the one that gave me my name, but... I also need a Keyboard-Boombox... he's a great guy but he caught me off guard!!!
 :-O

Here I have some specs of the Casio KX-101 vs. Sharp GF-990G (I'm waiting for the Fisher SC-300) so you guys can help me make a better decision! I don't know much about these numbers, or "flutter-wowness"... HELP!!!

I'm waiting for him to get the Fisher SC-300 manual (although none of you have voted for it?) ;-)

I think you should keep the KASUGA.... :-/
:agree:

I think just about any bbox with line in & line out would do the trick with a decent synth, wouldn't it? My old Casio is buried in the basement, but I would think that even the inexpensive ones would work.

Or am I wrong?

Wow!!
I've been drooling over that Casio lately
so its funny you should ask.
I can't think of a box that would turn more heads than this beautiful keyboard Boombox.
It personifies music
And would look great with a three piece black shark skin suit.

Cheers OSS :afro:
