I finally got around to fixing the lower cassette storage tray on Goldie. I ended up getting the silver front trim piece a while ago from member Caution. I installed it but didn't really glue it down tightly because I wanted to attempt to color match one day.
Well a few months ago the plastic locking peg on the back of the storage tray wore down to where when the bass would hit, it'd fly open.
So, after a few months of waiting until I felt like dealing with the issues, I dug into it today. I was able to add a Gold flavor to the trim, replace the plastic peg with a metal one and now its back together.
I'm pleased with the results.
