Hello,

this is my second JVC RC-M70, I just received it. It seems to work fine, just a belt problem I hope. A few light scratches and a lot of nicotine :jawdrop: very hard to remove.

 I've painted a residence before where a heavy smoker lived..
You could see where the pictures were hung on the wall, because everything around it was stained..even the spider webs were orange!

My grandparents (long since dead) were both chain smokers, especially my grandad...he would have one going from first thing in the morning until last thing at night. Their house was completely covered. He lived to 85, not sure how lol

I think it's tar rather than nicotine. I had a box recently that was covered in the stuff. I usually use soapy warm water like Simon but it wasn't getting it off. In the end I had to use the green Cillit bang stuff!

Good bye nicotine. I used a miracle product : Miror, made in France since 1911.

I've got a smoker's box that seems like it shouldn't even work, the guts are slathered with tar but it pounds like new, it must be acting as a type of conformal coating :-)
