Stephen Hawking passes away..

For me, this is an inspirational man who overcame massive odds to be one of the modern days most amazing thinkers and physicist. I know quantum physics isn't everyones cup of tea but this man was a genius, had a great sense of humour and acheived so much in the face of adversity.

Agreed. Most people diagnosed with his condition are given 2 years. He excelled in every way possible and accomplished WAY more than anyone could've hoped.

Unfortunately I doubt most kids know who he is/was. Our world may have just gotten a little dumberer...... R.I.P.

I feel there still are smart kids being raised, but looking around they seem few and far between. I saw a group of 10 kids today waiting for the school bus just beating on each other with sticks yelling racial slurs although they were all the same race. Maybe 10 years old at the most. It was kind of sad to see.
