floyd --i have used units just like that on several toy//model cars that i made for my kids -
they work great --but on some types of motors -they may not work at all ?

but -at that price --take the chance

i was thinking in general ira , maybe these could be useful to someone , me i just give em' a good kick in the battery compartment when they slow down lol.

They might work for something like the Sanyo M9990 which has no speed adjustment in their circuit or built into the motor. However, I hghly doubt it would work for the VZ2000. That boombox has a special driver circuit that reverses the motor depending upon which side of LP is being played.
