Hello friends I'm working on sharp gf 9292 and the tweeters work fine but I love my chrome dust caps what they don't have .I have same 4 ohm tweeters to replace them with bit just little lower in Watts. Will I notice any difference in sound and can I drop down a bit in Watts?

I think if you try the other tweeters either they work or they don't but you can always put the original back in.

Because of reactance, the actual amount of current going to the tweeters at those high frequencies would be but a fraction of the total amount of power output to the speaker system (woofer + tweeter). For this reason, unless your boombox is capable of 40wpc output or more, I'd venture to guess that those 5w tweeters will be fine power wise. As to whether or not they sound as good as the originals, come 'on, how could any of us tell you that based solely on a photo of the tweeters, only your ears can tell you that, although I suspect based on your post that aesthetics are probably very important to you and you'd have to weigh the balance between aesthetics and sound quality.

Your right I like looks more sound as well but don't want ruin anything if possible just for looks .I could also take off the dust caps off the others and glue them on the original and still be fine if it came down too it.
