speaker swaping for no name woofers?

I got a very strange but cool find last night. a 931 from a once leatherbar LOL! box was tossed out with fixures and all. Problem still powers barely maybe when tossed hard. but covered brown and cigar stench. Left woofer completely green and blk spotted(MOLD? smells like a dying sock under a bed. I found noname white woofers for $4 at thrift. rated 20 w max. sweet and clean with 3" dustcaps.
Prefer original factory but since these fix exact. would this be proper? or the new lasonic 15 w any suggestions please.

Be sure to check the ohm rating of the speakers. That is more important. You want to keep the ohm rating as close as possible to the originals.

thank you my wise and always up to speed friend. I showed the woofers to one person. claims jensens. and 4Ohm the the printing is so deteriated on the back. just wattage is slightly clear. Perhaps safe cours buy Factory do this right.... small note tinkering with low deck door. wont disengage. but push lever manual .hmmm! do i need lubricant or missing a spring? lets just do one project for now.... will do pics on this smellY O.G mONSTROSITY!

Heres a update. after removing paint/marker from speaker cabinets. there Yorx woofers. bad part. 4 ohm and 6 watt min yet max 20. Huh??? someones playing... these don/t have the logo only the tweets.Looks they may have been punked and switched to another set. 2nd issue was deck 2 door. open with my finger not by key. so heres a couple pics. thanks for all your guidance fellas!
