Have two GE boomboxes with 4-5 watt paper speakers, measuring 4.75" diag to mounting hole centers. That's not a common size. I didn't want to spend $50-60 for car speakers that I would have to modify something to make fit, on a boombox outputting 3 watts, so DYNAVOX is the place to find pincushion shape paper full range speakers with the correct dimensions. They are 10 watt replacements, 100-10khz. Speakers are about $5. This is to fit GE 3-5263,3-5262, etc. Probably some others. The speakers wear out from deterioration, and because the loudness compensation gives too much bass boost. More than the speakers were really made for. This place also sells nice 4" speakers, a little heavier duty, and some other sizes. Cheap.

They look ok I doubt they are actually 90db the original speakers maybe up to 95db how do they sound?

They look as good as OEM, fit exactly the same (the originals are 120mm hole to hole), and are higher wattage. Was hoping for some nice high-efficiency 4 ohm full-ranges at about 20-30 watts with rubber surrounds, but can't find anything that fits. Closest I found was the CF120-4 from Dayton Audio. 89db eff and 115mm hole to hole. They're $35 each at Parts Express. Feel like it's overkill for those GE boomboxes. Something like an RX-DT*** Panasonic, it would be a no-brainer. But for a 3 watt radio, idk. I do like the GEs, though. What I had as a teenager.
