Speaker grille painting

Hi.
Currently restoring a Saba BB.
Have a finish defect on one grille.
I have spent a whole day trying to mix paint to match the grille to no avail. Only got worse

Anyway. I think the only way to get a good result is to repaint all grilles.
I suppose the best way is to have them powder coated at some local firm. Or would it works with just comman spray paint?

Anyone got other idea how to fix the grille?

I always remove them.
Once removed, I hit them with fine steel wool, wash them and then paint with can spray paint.
I've used several kinds and all worked well.
The last one I used was Rustoleum "Universal" satin black.
It's got a trigger and sprays from any angle.
They came out perfect.

Car spray paint is absolutely fine for this

Just painted them satin black. Original i dark grey. Could not find dark grey so they are now black.
Will be intetesting to see how it turns out.

I’ve got this box. I would have gone with a flat (matt) colour.
