Hey guys, any thought on the best way to bring a dirty looking white woofer back to glory?
Bleach or paint etc. And best method.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated :angelic:

If the original speakers were a light creme color and not "white white", the best paint to use is Krylon Satin Dover White #2422.

Bleach can work, but just know that if you have stains, the stains will eventually come back over time.

Hey badboybill:
When you bleached those 5085's speakers, did you have to protect the chrome caps or were they ok to get bleach on?

I was very cautious not to get bleach on caps. I used a spray bottle and lightly sprayed white. Let sit for a bit then blow dry. Reapply if needed.

While we are on the subject, i want to change the speakers of my Phillips AZ1030/17 to white. They are black now, and don't have any chrome rings around it. Bleach paint or what? and if its paint, how to paint it with what type of paint? thnkz.
