Just a quick concept drawing I made here...today I silently was dreaming about an expanding collection and it is true, I am actually awaiting quite a few boxes soon if everything works out. One should come in quite soon and the other two will get delivered to my doorstep if everything works out but I will clear that up soon enough ;-) They are all BIG ones on my wanted list and it would be awesome if it all worked out.
So it has occured to me that many of the really beautiful machines I got and that I also connect memories with already do not get quite the place they should. For example a beautiful QT77 I got for Christmas from a friend and that is just sitting on my cassette shelf right now looking pretty provisorical.
But that shall change soon with a big but cheap change that hopefully will make my room look more open and brighter, too.
I will keep you updated  .

By the way: The grey boxes on the shelves are FICTIONAL. My collection is not near that big (yet) ;-) :angelic:

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

This was done in MS Powerpoint, the old version though, not 2007...

I have cleaned out and almost disassembled the old cupboards by now and made space for the new stuff.
Maybe gonna get the stuff for it today...I am guessing a max. of 50 euros is reasonable but I am expecting less actually. A cheap shelf system is not too pricey I think. :-)

:agree: built my storage out of old furniture and some spare wood.
Cutted in the company
So the costs > ~10 euro (for the hooks and screws) ;-)

Alright..watching "Cast away" with Tom Hanks and meanwhile investing lots of elbow grease into this.
I got the former closet (clothes cupboard) disassembles and ready for moving into the guest room and finally put the new old side board in place where is supposed to be eventually. It has been sitting in the guest room for years and I really liked it but never had the space...used to be in my first room when I was a baby :-) . As you can see everything is quite messy and many boxes are stacked on the sideboard but it will come along, I am sure.
Can't wait to see the result...my room already looks brighter without the huge bulky closet :-D

That turned out really nice!!!!!!!

Thank you :-)

I feel like the guy on the Maxell Tapes when I sit down in front of them
Yesterday I set my personal record for most boxes played at once...I had 9 boxes on radio and cranked them up...oh brother...I loved it but my neighbors probably hated it  :-D
I also re-discovered my beautiful VZ2500 and played only vinyls today...so much fun! And much nicer than having them spread over the whole room!

And space for more now  :breakdance: :afro:

SO looking forward to the next party now :-D :dj-party: :dj:
