i bought a nice Soundmaster every things work great,
except the tape player 2 eating tapes belts lookt good but i dont know i wanna mess it up so i hope someone cant help me out?

I can't offer any definitive help at the moment but I'm sure the cavalry will arrive before too long. Patience.........................

Umm.... did the baby grab the phone? Lol.

Probably have to clean the deck, rollers, etc. Rebelt it too.

Bottom decks are known for pinch roller dryness. Clean as best you can is only solution because the rollers are smaller than regular deck so replacement ones are hard to come by.

Pinch roller would be my first guess as well.

Jup what badboy say's is true pinch roller dry as a bone the rest looks good to me,
Belt are not stretchend i try to clean that pinch roller

Can you treat these with a rubber conditioner at all to help out, or would that leave an unwanted residue?

I normally replace all belts and pinch rollers. The old ones would never perform well.

Jup dirty indeed i have clean it al and a noticed a loose belt the little one so far it works again,
only i noticed if you push the tape with your finger the sound is better and thats strange because i clean everything
anyone?

Only if i found that i don't know where i can buy new belts and pinch rollers in the netherlands not much i cant find here,
Plus i must know the sizes
