Just tried out my new JVC RV-NB50 with my I-pod that i got for Xmas :-D
and im sorry to say.. but... Lasonic, you guys got it wrong !

The JVC has great sound and not to mention BASS, its also easy to
use and not to mention it actually works. You know, like charging my
80 gig ipod plus the volume control goes both up and down :nonono:

I wanted the I-931 when it first came out because of its classic
styling but it has basically stayed in its box since i got it, not the JVC.

Merry Xmas everyone :breakdance:

I also agree -- it sounds quite good. I think the disappointment arises from the expectation that it be the same quality and build as the older kabooms.

I agree, Arron. It seems that Lasonic's quality has really gone down hill from their early years. :-/ I'm hoping that someone brings one of the new Kabooms to the next Sunshine Mix so we can compare it to the Altec Lansing. Altec Lansing is definitely doing it right - as far as sound goes. Now, if they could just put all the electronics in a "classic" boombox chassis, it would be perfect. :-D
