Anybody here has or had a Sony Zilba'p boombox ? Your thoughts.

Great build quality. Kinda weak on bass though. Top panel often suffers corrosion or loss of clear coat.

in general 70's gear had a good build quality but sound was another thing, there are 2 exceptions though, the aiwa tpr950 and the jvc 3090en

If you want any decent speakers from the '70s you have to go with pro audio or DJ gear. My buddy has some Yamaha speakers from the '70s that would smoke your ass off the planet.
