Nice! I wish every boombox came with "green-yellow-red" LEDs like that.

Thanks for the awesome comments...glad you guys enjoyed! I just find those LEDs mesmerizing! :-D

To answer the question about the name of this track, it's the club mix of Afrika Bambaataa's 'Get up and dance.' I have it as one of the track's on a Pirate Radio Sessions (Chris Shepperd) cassette. I did a quick youtube search and found the song:

The tape has even more Bambaataa - Feel the vibe. 90s club music...oh yeeeeaah!!!

Don't be trying any of those fancy b-boy head spins! That's verboten at our age. :hmmm: ...unless you're married to a chiropractor!

So, tonight I finished cleaning paint spatters from a pair of APMs that recently arrived for my FH-15. They're actually speakers from an FH-215, and I'd originally hoped to use the woofers in my original cabinets to replace the foam-rotted ones. But, alas, it's not to be - no way they'll fit. So, using them with the FH-15 anyway - they're a little taller than the main unit but still look fairly matched. And I'll have yet another set of speakers for an FH-215 coming tomorrow - well, not only the speakers but the entire box! Got a note from the postman that it's waiting for pickup! Really looking forward to another nice Sony portable in the house.

Here's a short, rather poor-quality video I just shot of the FH-15 and CFS-9000 waiting for their sibling.
