Sony dual deck walkman WM-W800

That Sony double deck Walkman has been on my grail list since 1986.
It was summer, 1986, and some friends from Melbourne and myself went to the movies to see Karate Kid 2.
One of their parents drove us, and I was already excited as it was a new mercedes and I got to experience
power windows for the very first time; which already made this a red letter day.
On the drive one of the guys produced a sony catalogue saying he was trying to decide what model to get
and we passed it around the car. As I got my turn to peruse this incredibly exciting book of portable audio I could
only dream of I saw it. The double cassette walkman. This blew my mind in ways I couldn't express! I vividly remember
the shots of it with both tape doors open and it looking like some sleeky designed robotic butterfly.
I remember the price being well over AU$500 and that kind of money was in no way realistic to me as a 13 year old kid.
But, one day, I reallllly hope to still get one. And US$200 is something I'd be happy to pay!... shame I saw this after the listing finished.
If anyone has one they'd like to sell or have a lead on one please let me know!

i had the dual deck sony walkman just never gave any though that it might be valueable , i never was a walkman dude so it went somewhere lol.i have no clue where i got it from or where it went too ,i guess it was one of those things that gets lost in the shuffle. i do remember the sony dual deck walkman but i also remembered there was no way it would keep me happy i loved boomboxes much more lol.
