sony DAT ?

anybody here know about sony DAT walkmans ??
aside from the digital tape couinter --
are they different and/or better than ' regular' good walkmans ??

Different...yes, better than? Subjective. Better sounding? Absolutely.

Better SQ.

The problem with DAT is the heads. DAT uses a drum head like VHS etc. When the head fails you have a paperweight as it's hard to replace.
