I was so lucky to get a mint Sony CFS66 yesterday. This unit sounds awesome!
I was attempting to change the old belts and realized that this model is not that easy to open like the other CFS models like CFS500 because the upper side top dials panel and control face also opens and comes to the front with the speaker and the grill assembly.
I removed the top rotary knobs and realized the tuning knob stays there underneath along with the the toggle switches for tape/radio/line in and other selection switches. I can open it up but wanted to be extra careful not to break anything inside. 
It appears like the bottom part slides to the front and the top side has to lift off when you open it. Anyone got experience in opening this model or have a service manual?
